• Batman is the most famous and popular comic book superheroes of all time. In addition to comic books, Batman’s story continues to be retold and recast with contemporary works, including the huge Batman films: BATMAN RETURNS (2005) and THE DARK KNIGHT (2008). The next movie in the series, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, will be released in theaters July 2012 with the DVD to follow later in the year.
