L.A. Candy will be featured in this Sunday's New York Times Magazine (circ: 2 million). The book is discussed in an article about the crossover of publishing and reality TV. Lauren will also be interviewed in USA Weekend (circ: 23 million) for their "Who's News" section-the most read page of the magazine. This will run in July, exact date tk.
Disney has acquired the movie rights to Aprilynne Pike's Wings! The film will be produced by the producers of Twilight and Miley Cyrus has signed on to play Laurel!
On July 13th, both the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Tribune featured Chicago's SHELebration in honor of Shel Silverstein!

Coinciding with the beginning of the school year,John Grogan will begin a five city tour for Marley Goes to School on September 15th in Atlanta! John will kick off the tour with a radio satellite tour on September 14th.

This week's TV Guide magazine (circ 3,256,962) names Lauren Conrad as one of their top ten celeb multitaskers for her roles as TV star, author of LA Candy, and fashion designer!
Jenna Bush was interviewed by Newsweek (circ: 2.7M) for an article on the 'Best Books Ever.' Her list of best books included Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman, Love That Dog by Sharon Creech and Brown Angels by Walter Dean Myers! The article ran in the July 13th issue and also includes a mention of Ana's Story.
Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr was featured on ABC's Good Morning America on July 1st as part of their 'Hot Summer Reads for Teens!' Baseball Great, Football Champ, Stargazer, and Prism were also displayed in the segment!

The Today Show (NBC) has chosen The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness #1: Wolf Brother by Michelle Paver as the next pick for "Al Roker's Book Club!" Michelle's segment will air on Tuesday, June 30th, exact time TK.
Francine Prose's interview about Touch with NPR's "All Things Considered" will air tomorrow, Friday, June 26th between 4-6pm ET!
In July, Neil Gaiman will be featured on "Open Mic," a new series from NPR's "Morning Edition," to discuss the rebirth of audio books. This fall, Neil will be profiled in The New Yorker (exact run date TK) and in October, CBS Sunday Morning will air a feature profile on Neil with visits to his home, and appearances at ALA and Worldcon (air date TK).

Tiger Pups authors Tom and Allie Harvey will be on the Today Show (NBC) on June 25th with the tigers!
Faye and Aliza Kellerman kick off their 6-city tour for Prism next week in Los Angeles! They will also be doing events in Phoenix, Albuquerque, Kansas City, Chicago, and New Jersey. The authors were interviewed for features to run in the Albuquerque Journal, Kansas City Star, and Romantic Times.

Lauren Conrad's media blitz for L.A. Candy continues next week with a two part interview on Access Hollywood on 6/15, an appearance on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien (NBC) on 6/16, and appearances on both The Early Show (CBS) and the View (ABC) on 6/18! Her 10 city tour will kick off in Los Angeles on Tuesday, 6/16!
Nothing But Ghosts will be included in a round up in the August 2009 issue of Family Circle (circ: 3.9M)!

Nation by Terry Pratchett won the 2009 Boston Globe-Horn Book Award in Fiction and Poetry! The Graveyard Book and Old Bear were selected as Honor Books.
The Stolen One author Suzanne Crowley will appear on a panel about writing for teens at the Chicago Tribune Printers Row Lit Fest on Saturday, June 6th!
Lauren Conrad's launch party for L.A. Candy will take place Wednesday, June 10th and there will be lots of national media coverage including interviews with Access Hollywood, Entertainment Weekly, and US Weekly. The E! Channel will give Lauren a handheld camera so she can provide first-hand footage of her tour beginning on June 16th!

The Supernatural Summer tour kicks off Tuesday, June 2nd!
