Scott Bittle

Scott Bittle is executive editor of Public Agenda.org, where he has prepared citizen guides on more than 20 major issues including the deficit, Social Security, and the economy. He is also the Web site director for Planet Forward, an innovative PBS program designed to bring citizen voices to the energy debate. For eight years, he was a reporter, copy editor, bureau chief, and political coordinator for The Press of Atlantic City. He has also won two Golden Quill Awards for feature articles and was honored by the Philadelphia Press Association for daily newspaper writing.

Jean Johnson

A co-founder of Public Agenda.org, Jean Johnson has more than 20 years of experience understanding and writing about public attitudes on a broad range of issues, such as public education, higher education, the federal budget,  retirement, and health care. Jean has written articles and op-eds for USA Today, Education Week, School Board News,  Educational Leadership, and The Huffington Post. She is an advisor to The Ad Council and on the board of the National Issues Forums, a national, non-partisan citizen engagement coalition.
