- Vogue
Praise for Nemesis:

“The dense plot is supremely detailed. . . . A crisp, clean translation. . . . Satisfying.”

- New York Times Book Review
“Readers now can savor Nemesis. . . . Nesbø’s storytelling abilities are incomparable. Nemesis is crime novel as art form and great entertainment.”

- USA Today
Praise for The Redbreast:

“An elegant and complex thriller . . . Ingenious design. . . . Nesbø’s book eloquently uses its multiple horrors to advance a disturbing argument: suppressing history is an open invitation for history to repeat itself.”

- New York Times Book Review
“A fine novel. . . . The Redbreast certainly ranks with the best of current American crime fiction.”

- Washington Post Book World
“A hugely impressive achievement—ambitious in scope, and skilled in execution. Nesbø’s detective, the splendidly named Harry Hole, is drunk and depressive—so what’s new? The Redbreast scores, though, in its plotting—the twists keep coming right to the end as Hole tracks the killer. . . . The dark tone carries real weight.”
