Kathleen Weidner Zoehfeld is the award-winning author of more than sixty books, including Dinosaur Tracks, Did Dinosaurs Have Feathers?, Dinosaurs Big and Small, and Dinosaur Babies. Kathleen loves to spend her free time exploring, doing fieldwork, and preparing fossils for her local natural history museums. She lives in Berkeley, CA.

Lucia Washburn has illustrated more than a dozen books for children, including Dinosaur Tracks, Did Dinosaurs Have Feathers?, Dinosaurs Big and Small and Dinosaur Babies in the Let’s-Read-and-Find-Out Science series and Look to the North by Jean Craighead George, a 1997 Parents' Choice Award winner. She lives in California with her family.
